At TAFE Queensland SkillsTech, we don’t expect students to repeat learning they have already attained through work/life experience or prior study.

RPL formally recognises current skills and knowledge gained through previous ‘informal’ learning such as work experience, life experience and education.

Each RPL assessment is unique to the skills and knowledge of the student. The process generally takes approximately 12 weeks, but can vary between individual students.

The successful achievement of this course requires you to complete all mandatory listed below and twenty one (21) elective units as specified below:

  • A minimum of one (1)  from Group A
  • The remainder may be chosen from Groups A, B and C (with a maximum of eighteen (18)  from Group C) to bring the total number of electives to twenty one (21).

Note that up to five (5)  units can be chosen from other qualifications in this Training Package, other endorsed Training Packages and accredited courses, as specified in Groups B and C.

These units form part of PMA40113 Certificate IV in Process Plant Technology.
